Quality Assurance Scheme (QAS)

Centre for Medical Education (CME) & Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) developed National Guidelines and Tools for Quality Assurance Scheme (QAS) for Medical Colleges in Bangladesh with the Support of World Health Organization (WHO).

This Medical College implements the Quality Assurance Scheme (QAS) to achieve stated academic standards and to improve teaching-learning quality and enhance students’ achievement.

Research & Monitoring Cell

For research management and co-ordination, Diabetic Association Medical College, Faridpur has established Research and Monitoring cells.

This cell conducts regular programs for the training of research workers and takes the responsibility to function as a focal point for all health research in this medical college. It also provides advisory services to doctors and teachers in publishing research work and journal. Journal of Diabetic Association Medical College, Faridpur (JDAMC) is published twice in a year under the supervision of an Editorial board and an Institutional Ethics Review Board (IERB).

Medical Education Unit (MEU) & Medical Skill Centre (MSC)

The Medical Education Unit (MEU) has been established, with the aim to develop the real time aptitude in the professionalism of medical teachers. Seminars and workshops are arranged regularly which enable them to exchange views with the colleagues of other disciplines. It is run by a Committee. A Professor is in charge of the overall organization and management of the unit. This committee also run the Medical Skill Centre (MSC).
